We believe in a collaborative approach to physical therapy, working together to support your body's natural inclination towards health and function. By mindfully meeting the edge of what feels possible, we can grow past self-percieved limits and outdated habits to do things that once seemed beyond our grasp.
Physical Therapy Services
At Movement Fundamentals, we have extensive experience working with neurological and orthopedic conditions. Our goal is to work together on the things that matter to you most, whether that is learning how to transfer independently, improve gait, recover from a surgery or injury, improve physical performance, or manage a persistent pain complaint. We approach the body holistically, and refuse to separate the (elegant, remarkable) system into parts and pieces. We also recognize the contribution of the mind-body connection in recovery from illness and injury.

The many benefits of a mind-body practice are available to all: awareness and depth of breathing, resilience and nervous system regulation, improvements in flexibility, muscular engagement, core stabilization, and ease of alignment. A yoga practice is an excellent way to create a friendlier relationship with your body, a pre-requisite for optimal function and performance.
